Homemade Gelatin Dessert Squares

Looking for a cool treat? This homemade gelatin dessert squares recipe is simple and makes a great, sweet dessert. It satisfies any sweet tooth and is refreshing, especially during the hot weather seasons! You can make any flavor of gelatin too, not just the raspberry. And even add any fruit slices of your choices to the gelatin if you want!



  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter

Cream cheese filling-

  • 2 packages (8 oz) cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 carton whipped topping

Gelatin topping-

  • 2 packages raspberry gelatin (or any flavor of your choice)
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups cold water
  • (Can add diced fruit slices that go with your choice of gelatin if you want)


  1. Combine flour, pecans, and brown sugar; stir in butter all into a medium sized bowl
  2. Press into an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 pan
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-13 mins
  4. Beat cream cheese and sugar in a medium sized bow; fold in whipping cream
  5. Spread cream cheese mixture onto the top of crust in the 13x9in pan
  6. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour
  7. Dissolve gelatin and spoon over cream cheese; refrigerate until firm
  8. Cut into squares and enjoy!
